Meet the Makers

Jason Despier, a licensed applied behavior analyst in Massachusetts, brings deep experience in behavior science and mindfulness training. His work focuses on building quiet, doable practices that make daily life a little more grounded, even in the midst of chaos.

Tim Atkinson, an educator, MBSR teacher, and mindfulness coach, brings years of experience helping people reconnect with themselves through mindful movement, meditation, and intentional living. His focus on self-care and gentle awareness guides much of our daily rhythm.

Jason Despier is a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts who holds multiple certifications in mindfulness training. His background in education, behavior analysis, public and private healthcare, and mindfulness over the past 10 years brings forth proven methods and knowledge to meet individuals where they are in their lives. Jason's development of The Mindful Age combines meditation and mindful movements through strategies and supports to improve an individual’s overall health and wellness.

Tim Atkinson, Ed.D., is a seasoned medical educator, researcher, and mindfulness coach with over 10 years of mindfulness practice. He is an author with over 20+ peer-reviewed publications on burnout, leadership, and education. Tim is also a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, offering evidence-based stress reduction techniques. He holds a degree in Biology and a Doctorate in Education, and is dedicated to helping individuals combat stress and embrace mindfulness at The Mindful Age.
